A free, secure, and student-built utility designed to keep students safely on campus by resolving everyday financial friction.
Students today rely heavily on a hybrid economy of digital payments (UPI) and physical cash. However, they frequently encounter dead-ends that disrupt their academic day.
CashMate is not a public social network. To enter, a student must register using their official mobile number and be physically associated with the recognized college campus.
Every single user must submit a clear photo of their official College ID Card alongside a live selfie. The admin team manually approves accounts. Outsiders and fake profiles are completely blocked.
When a match is found, students meet at a populated campus location (e.g., Central Library, Cafeteria). The physical cash is verified visually before the digital UPI transfer is executed face-to-face.
We understand that faculty concern primarily lies with student safety. We have engineered the platform to prevent misuse.
Female students can enable a "Girls Only" mode. Their exchange requests become entirely invisible to male users on the platform, ensuring complete comfort.
Mobile numbers are strictly hidden from the public feed. Contact details are only revealed mutually after both verified students agree to the exchange.
To adhere to strict data privacy standards, the sensitive photos of Student ID cards are permanently deleted from our servers the moment the student is verified.
Any student reported for suspicious behavior, failing to transfer funds, or misuse of the platform faces an immediate, permanent, IP-level ban.
"CashMate was not built to disrupt campus life; it was built to optimize it. As students ourselves, we noticed how much time was wasted and stress was caused by simple micro-financial hurdles like a canteen not accepting UPI or an ATM running out of cash.
By recommending this free utility to your students, you are helping them save time, stay safe within campus grounds, and build a collaborative, helpful community."
